Greetings from the Principal’s Desk!!!
At Chavara Vidya Bhavan Matric Hr. Sec. School, we see education as much more than classroom learning and academic achievement. Inspired by St. Chavara Kuriakose Elias; saint, social reformer, and pioneer of education; we believe that education must help a person to think clearly, live rightly, and grow into a responsible and compassionate human being. In the spirit of the CMI Educational Policy, we strive to form students who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, and socially responsible.
St. Chavara believed that a school could change people, families, and society. His conviction that “a school should be attached to every church” was born from a deep concern for ordinary people and their future. That vision continues to guide us today. In a fast-changing world, our task is not only to prepare students for examinations or careers, but also to help them develop clarity of mind, strength of character, respect for others, and a sense of responsibility towards society.
As Chavara Vidya Bhavan celebrates its Ruby Jubilee, we remember with gratitude forty years of committed service, hard work, and educational excellence. This milestone invites us to renew our dedication to the values that shaped this institution, while moving forward with confidence, creativity, and a clear sense of purpose. May our school continue to be a place where young people discover knowledge, values, direction, and the courage to make a positive difference in the world.
