At Chavara Vidya Bhavan, all sports and games are supported by a dedicated team of specialised coaches and five qualified Physical Education faculty members. Students receive systematic training during evening sessions up to 6:00 p.m., as well as on holidays, ensuring consistent skill development. The structured coaching programme focuses on physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence. Through rigorous practice and expert guidance, students consistently deliver outstanding performances at the Zonal and District levels. Many athletes have gone on to bag medals, secure individual championships, and make the school proud at State-level competitions. Notably, several students have also represented the school at national and international sporting forums, reflecting the institution’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent alongside academic growth.
SKATING
At Chavara Vidya Bhavan, skating is an exciting and enriching co-curricular activity that promotes both physical well-being and mental agility. Our structured skating programme helps students develop balance, coordination, flexibility, and endurance, while also enhancing concentration, confidence, and self-discipline.
Under the guidance of trained instructors, students learn proper techniques and safety practices in a supportive and encouraging environment. Skating also instils sportsmanship, perseverance, and resilience, enabling children to overcome challenges and build a strong sense of self-belief.
