Well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratories provide hands-on scientific experience, while a library with a wide collection of books and multimedia resources supports academic enrichment. A spacious auditorium facilitates cultural, academic, and co-curricular activities, enhancing students’ confidence and creativity.
A common prayer hall fosters unity and respect among pupils of different faith traditions. The campus features an airy, green playground for healthy physical development and a kids’ park for relaxation and recreation. The herbarium with medicinal plants promotes environmental awareness, while the “Wealth from Waste” initiative encourages sustainability, creativity, and responsible living.
Herbal Garden
Our campus is enriched by a life-giving green space named H2H (Herbs To Heal), a dedicated herbal garden that nurtures both nature and learning. With more than 50 varieties of medicinal plants, the garden serves as a living classroom, promoting awareness of natural healing and environmental responsibility among students.
Each plant is clearly labeled with its botanical and vernacular names, enabling easy identification and meaningful learning. This diverse collection introduces students to ancient Indian wisdom while fostering curiosity and hands-on exploration. The Chavara Herbal Garden initiative reflects the school’s commitment to creating a cleaner, greener, and healthier campus environment.
Career Guidance Cell
The Chavara Career Guidance Cell aims to support individuals in achieving their professional goals by helping them identify and plan suitable career paths. To fulfill this mission, experts and achievers from various fields are invited to share their experiences, insights, and guidance with both staff and students, offering valuable real-world perspectives.
In collaboration with the Counselling Department, the Career Guidance Cell actively involves students and their parents in an aptitude-spotting process designed to identify strengths and interests. This structured approach helps students make informed decisions and kickstart focused preparation for their future careers with clarity and confidence.
The Counselling desk
The Counselling Desk at Chavara serves as a cornerstone of the school’s support system, extending guidance and assistance to students, parents, and staff alike. It is dedicated to creating a nurturing and safe environment where students can openly share their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. By fostering such openness, the counselling desk ensures that students feel heard and valued, which is essential for their mental and emotional well-being.
Beyond emotional support, the counselling desk plays a vital role in academic guidance, stress management, and conflict resolution. It equips students with coping strategies and life skills that promote resilience and adaptability. By actively involving parents and staff in the process, it strengthens the home-school connection, enabling a more holistic approach to student development. This continuous support not only enhances personal growth and self-confidence but also improves interpersonal skills, helping students cultivate empathy
Interact Club Of Chavara Vidya Bhavan
The Interact Club at Chavara provides an exceptional platform for students to develop interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. As the school version of Rotary International, it encourages young learners to take initiative, work collaboratively, and contribute positively to their community, fostering a sense of responsibility and purpose. Through its activities, Chavara continues to write a new chapter in its proud history of holistic student development.
The primary mission of the Interact Club is to cultivate leadership skills while instilling the principle of “service above self.” Being part of an international organization allows students to experience teamwork, collaboration, and social engagement on a broader scale. The exposure to service-oriented projects and working for a common cause helps students build empathy, global awareness, and a lifelong commitment to making a meaningful difference in society.
